“I was quite new to massage as anything other than a periodic stress reliever. After suffering with a particularly severe bout of sciatica I decided to take matters into my own hands and look for a therapist to work with me.  After the initial interview Jackie made me feel totally at ease and very relaxed. I felt she listened to my needs and gave me a fantastic massage teatment that I really felt the benefit of especially the day after. I have since returned for further treatments with Jackie as I continued to feel the benefits in both the short and long term and have not had a recurrence of my sciatica since undertaking the treatments. Thank you Jackie for all that you have done for me.”

I was fortunate to have been recommended to Jackie Kearns for deep tissue massage by my Physio after many years of pain and discomfort with disc and arthritic problems. Jackie’s treatment has proved invaluable to me. Her caring nature has allowed me to trust in her ability to provide a unique massage for my specific problems.  When you are worn down with pain and stiffness it is uplifting to believe and feel that it can diminish. I look forward to her treatments so much as I feel so relaxed and positive afterwards.

Emma Coffey

Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy

Emma uses two powerful psychological therapies: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy, offering an effective evidence-based method to address issues with tangible improvements.

Emma has a background in teaching, relationship education and leadership training across England and Wales. In 2016 she made the transition to therapeutic practice when she was awarded the James Braid scholarship to train with the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy (the only hypnotherapy training programme approved by The British Psychological Society). In addition to private practice Emma now works for the UK College, developing their training programme.

“I understand the true value of hypnosis and cognitive behaviour therapy, having overcome my own personal anxieties and challenges using these proven techniques. I know from experience how we can help ourselves grow and transform our lives through understanding how our own thoughts shape our experience.”

Emma works with a range of issues including anxiety, social anxiety, low confidence, goal setting, phobias, habit reversal, weight loss and performance improvement.

Dip CBH, BA, PGCE, GHR (reg)
Emma is a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register, CNHC and the National Council for Hypnotherapy.

“Emma has been brilliant in helping me deal with my social anxiety that was starting to interfere with my work, and would cause me to deliberately avoid my friends and opportunities for fear of judgement. After only a few sessions, I started to see an improvement in my behaviour and ability to control my intrusive thoughts. Now I’ve become so much more able to cope with my anxiety and have learned to use relaxation strategies that help me to generally enjoy life more. Getting therapy has given me a whole new outlook and benefited me in so many ways. Emma is extremely empathetic, non-judgmental and helped me identify and find solutions to some of my biggest anxieties. I would highly recommend her!”

“I was sceptical of hypnotherapy at first but Emma was fantastic at reassuring me and clearly explaining the benefits of hypnotherapy. I found it very easy to work with her and the hypnotherapy I experienced has been very helpful for my everyday life. I highly recommend her.”

“I made more progress and achieved more change with Emma in a few sessions than I have in years of seeing other therapists.”

“I had never been to any kind of therapist before, so was a little nervous before my first session with Emma. I needn’t have worried, however, as she made me feel calm and relaxed and she really took the time to properly listen. In my experience she used very effective techniques and I would definitely recommend her to others.”
