Emma uses two powerful psychological therapies: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy, offering an effective evidence-based method to address issues with tangible improvements.

Emma has a background in teaching, relationship education and leadership training across England and Wales. In 2016 she made the transition to therapeutic practice when she was awarded the James Braid scholarship to train with the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy (the only hypnotherapy training programme approved by The British Psychological Society). In addition to private practice Emma now works for the UK College, developing their training programme.

“I understand the true value of hypnosis and cognitive behaviour therapy, having overcome my own personal anxieties and challenges using these proven techniques. I know from experience how we can help ourselves grow and transform our lives through understanding how our own thoughts shape our experience.”

Emma works with a range of issues including anxiety, social anxiety, low confidence, goal setting, phobias, habit reversal, weight loss and performance improvement.

Qualifications

Dip CBH, BA, PGCE, GHR (reg)
Emma is a member of the General Hypnotherapy RegisterCNHC and the National Council for Hypnotherapy.

Recommendations

“Emma has been brilliant in helping me deal with my social anxiety that was starting to interfere with my work, and would cause me to deliberately avoid my friends and opportunities for fear of judgement. After only a few sessions, I started to see an improvement in my behaviour and ability to control my intrusive thoughts. Now I’ve become so much more able to cope with my anxiety and have learned to use relaxation strategies that help me to generally enjoy life more. Getting therapy has given me a whole new outlook and benefited me in so many ways. Emma is extremely empathetic, non-judgmental and helped me identify and find solutions to some of my biggest anxieties. I would highly recommend her!”

“I was sceptical of hypnotherapy at first but Emma was fantastic at reassuring me and clearly explaining the benefits of hypnotherapy. I found it very easy to work with her and the hypnotherapy I experienced has been very helpful for my everyday life. I highly recommend her.”

“I made more progress and achieved more change with Emma in a few sessions than I have in years of seeing other therapists.”

“I had never been to any kind of therapist before, so was a little nervous before my first session with Emma. I needn’t have worried, however, as she made me feel calm and relaxed and she really took the time to properly listen. In my experience she used very effective techniques and I would definitely recommend her to others.”

Suzi Sprately - Nutritional Therapist

Suzi Spratley

Nutritional Therapy

Suzi specialises in Naturopathic Nutrition and wellness. She graduated from a three-year
Naturopathic Nutrition diploma at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. Suzi has
had a lifelong passion and curiosity for how nutrition and lifestyle choices can heal the body,
mind and spirit.
Her principles are aligned to those of Naturopathy and she applies these principles through
creating a bespoke empowering naturopathic nutrition and lifestyle plans for each client.
These principles include treating the whole person, i.e. treatment plans encompass all
aspects of a person’s being, identifying and treating the cause of disease and that
prevention is better than cure.

Qualifications and Affiliations

  • DipNT
  • Member of The Association of Naturopathic Practitioners

Recommendations

Meeting Suzy has been the most awe inspiring and life changing experience ever. I
came to her as a very sick person, struggling with several post covid auto immune
illnesses which have been severely impacting my entire quality of life, fatigue,
stiffness and muscle weakness being my most crippling conditions. I could barely
open my eyes for muscle weakness.

Suzi’s beautiful energy is completely infectious; her knowledge of the body and how
our foods impact each body system, is stunning. I am 4 days into the first 4 weeks of
my plan and I can honestly say the differences in me, on so many levels, has totally
blown me and my family away. For the first time in my life, with Suzi’s ease of
explanations, I now understand the science behind what I’m eating and what’s
happening, and that means so much to me. I feel this is the start of a long, healthy
and quite beautiful relationship with Suzi and I am so completely full of gratitude for
her and all that she has taught me through her wisdom, professionalism and her own
experiences. I have finally fully accepted and understood my auto immune
conditions, how they work, the impact some major stresses have had on my body,
and with Suzi’s amazing support I’m now working to completely manage them, live a
better life and hopefully one day, to put them into remission.

I would truly recommend anyone to Suzi who wants to heal through the science and
medicine of food; or who just wants to live a better life.

Hilary H, Kent

Nutrition is a complex subject I’ve never really tried to get to grips with but Suzi is so good
at explaining everything in a way that anyone can understand and has helped me to realise
quite how closely linked everything within my body is. She has such an enthusiastic,
knowledgable and caring approach and you can just tell she’s passionate about what she does.
It was an absolute pleasure working with her to devise a plan and I would highly recommend
her services to anyone! Thanks so much Suzi

Charlotte R, Dover

Suzi’s natural and authentic approach created a trusting open environment on what can be
quite a personal and sensitive health matter
Her ability to apply her knowledge to my situation felt attentive and customised,
she really listened to understand my needs.

Nina G, Rhodes Minnis

Suzi showed patience and empathy during our meetings, her informative and
succinct approach made the whole process understandable and manageable, I was
truly surprised by the beneficial effects on Suzi’s advice to me.

Alison Lingwood

Holistic Bodywork

Alison is a Chartered Physiotherapist and teacher and former founder of Physiologic clinic in Hythe which she successfully ran for 25 years . She was always drawn to work with the more difficult health problems including chronic pain, autoimmune conditions and those with undiagnosed symptoms. Since the Western medical model did not always produce the results for some clients, she started to investigate indigenous healing ideas which she now integrates during a session.
Over the years Alison has come to appreciate more fully what it means to heal body, mind and spirit; the expression of our human and divine energies. When we experience trauma of any kind the imprint of the memory can remain within our system and symptoms may be felt. To address this she has created a healing modality called Concentra that brings together all aspects of her work and life experience ; publishing a book in 2021, ‘Daring to Feel, Awaken the healer within.’
Alison’s desire is for everyone to realise the power and innate potential each one of us has to heal all that is not in alignment. To be curious and open to new experiences allows us to change perceptions and beliefs, bringing to the for our often hidden abilities. Alison also works online when she is not available in person.
The powers of healing and of creativity come from source energies around us and inside of us with which we can be in constant communication. All we need is do is to want to and know we have the ability to make theses connections.

Recommendations

I have known Alison for several years, she is an intuitive, insightful and empathic healer and teacher. Through the simple, but highly effective, Concentra Process she has shown me how to connect with my heart and listen to my true self, to help identify, release and rebalance the stuck energies and beliefs that impact negatively on emotional and physical health.

’I felt totally relaxed and a different person to the one who had walked in. It felt as though my body was now starting to run more harmoniously’
Headache sufferer of 30 years
I chose to work with Alison on the recommendation of my rheumatologist. It was an excellent
decision. She sometimes uses traditional physiotherapy but she also works hard to teach you
the skills to identify and release tension and knots on your own. I don’t always understand
what she asks me to do but as long as I follow her guidance, it works and my pain is
alleviated. I’ve gone from pain levels that used to wake me at night to days at a time with
virtually none. I’ve recently had a session online that was also effective.

Claire Reid

Physiotherapy

Claire is a Holistic Physiotherapist specialising in chronic pain. Her journey into physiotherapy started when a mini bus came into the side of her car on the motorway, leaving her with whiplash injuries and a torn muscle in her shoulder.

With determination and the guidance of the physiotherapists, she got back to swimming competitively. Claire asked many questions of her Physiotherapist & organised work experience. From there she didn’t look back! She was inspired by the changes patients were experiencing from the involvement of the physiotherapists.

Whilst completing her degree at St George’s Hospital in London, she secured a job as a physiotherapy assistant. After spending 5 years in the NHS, she moved into private practice.

The past decade has been spent exploring how to help patients with chronic conditions get better, to have no fear in movements, connecting their bodies and minds.
