Alaine is a Counsellor & Psychotherapist qualified in the three major therapeutic approaches of Psychodynamic Theories, Client Centred Therapy & Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. After her initial training she progressed her studies at The Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) where she received an MA in Transpersonal Psychotherapy and accreditation with the UKCP.
Her work has covered both primary care at G.P surgeries and long-term therapy with individuals & couples. She has also worked in a number of educational facilities & special units with children, families & young people – some of whom had complex or special needs, ADHD, language & communication challenges, Autistic Spectrum Disorder or emotional & behavioural difficulties.
Alaine’s client base has been varied, including very young children, adolescents, couples, groups & families. Her approach is always tailored to the needs of each and every individual – focusing on collaboration and creativity to keep things fresh. Each client & every session is unique & new.
Therapy provides the space where painful outmoded beliefs about ourselves and others can be brought into open awareness without judgement or distraction. Alaine offers a safe, confidential, enabling & unconditionally positive space in which to explore life’s issues.

- Higher National Diploma – Integrative Counselling, Bromley College. BACP accredited course.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy – The Centre for Counselling & Psychotherapy. UKCP accredited course
