Food Intolerance Testing

Do you suspect you might be reacting to the foods you are eating every day? Would you like to know for sure if certain foods you eat regularly are actually making you feel sick and tired? It is estimated that over 45% of the population have an adverse reaction to the foods they eat due to a food-specific IgG intolerance. Whilst not life threatening in the same way as having an IgE food allergy reaction, symptoms caused by a food intolerance can have a big impact on someone’s quality of life.

The symptoms of a food intolerance are many and varied and can take up to 72 hours to develop, this can make identifying the offending foods virtually impossible without proper testing.

YorkTest analyses reactions to over 200 different food and drink ingredients. Results of the test are usually available within 7 to 10 days, and based on these results and on your individual needs, we will recommend an elimination diet and formulate a treatment plan.
